四人斗地主As the Yemen Country Office focal point for global advocacy on Yemen, the Yemen Advocacy Manager will be working closely with members from Save the Children International and individual Save the Children Members, serving as a member of the Humanitarian Advocacy Working Group (HAWG) – ensuring that this global network remains informed on local developments and opportunities to influence positive outcomes, especially for children.
The Advocacy Manager will lead on the advocacy strategy and manage the production of key advocacy products/activities. This involves close collaboration with the Country Director, the Director of Advocacy, Media and Comms (AMC), the Field Managers, the Media & Communications Manager and other members of the Yemen AMC Team to identify Save the Children’s advocacy priorities, develop advocacy messaging, and advocate for policy and programmatic changes with local and international advocacy targets, as well as local communities. The Advocacy Manager will ensure advocacy products reflect humanitarian programmatic priorities, and are sensitive to contextual risks which could impact upon the response operations, are impartial, and represent the field needs from across the country. The Advocacy Manager will seek clarification on any politically-sensitive matters which may impact upon Yemen operations and seek appropriate sign off (e.g. Country Director level) on any global messaging or products.
